His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordan Esports Federation, officially crowned the winners of the 2026 Aqaba Esports Tournament during a closing ceremony held at the Wadi Rum Visitors Center. The second edition of the event, organized by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in cooperation with the Jordan Esports Federation, drew approximately 210 players from various southern governorates of the Kingdom alongside numerous industry experts and enthusiasts.
In the Counter-Strike 2 competition, team NG5 secured the first-place victory, followed by team ATOMIC in second place, and team MINES finishing third. Meanwhile, the FC26 tournament concluded with Ali Al-Damour capturing the championship title, Hamid Al-Khalili earning the runner-up spot, and Yazan Khleifat securing third place.
The initial qualifying rounds of the tournament took place over two days at the Aqaba Digital Village, featuring fierce matchups across both featured gaming titles before the top-performing competitors advanced to the final stages in Wadi Rum.
